Sapper David Shepherd, Royal Engineers, attached Royal Scots Fusiliers, has been killed in action. His wife resides at 197 Strathmartine Road, Dundee. Sapper Shepherd enlisted over three years ago, and had served in Egypt, being transferred to France about six months ago. Deceased, who was the son of the late Mr Peter Shepherd, slater, was for many years foreman with Mr John Carnegie, Seafield Road, Dundee.
