DUNDEE RIFLEMAN FALLS IN ACTION.

Intimation has been received by his sister, who resides at 3 St Mary’s Lane, Lochee, of the death in action of Private Thomas Darcy, Scottish Rifles.  Deceased’s brother, Private John Darcy, K.O.S.B., was killed in action some time ago.

Thomas, who was 26 years of age, was in Glasgow when he enlisted in the Scottish Rifles in 1915.  He had seen considerable service at the front.

His brother was Pte John D’Arcy, 8779, 2nd battalion, Kings Own Scottish Borderers, who was killed in action 14.10.1914.
