William D. Duncan S/9148 Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders
Private Wm. D. Duncan, eldest son of Mrs David Duncan, Wortley Place, was killed in a charge in the recent fighting. He was at one time a clerk with the Caledon Shipbuilding and Engineering Co., Ltd., and afterwards went to America. He enlisted in the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders in 1915.
