A further 2 years
John remained in Wakefield until his next release date in January 1918. Upon his release, he was once again rearrested and on this his third court martial was sentenced to a further two years in prison for refusing military service. He returned to Wakefield Prison and served some of his time at Wormwood Scrubs.
