Battle of the Falklands
The enemy ships were sighted off the Falklands and the powerful battlecruisers quickly closed the gap on the German ships to 14 km. At 13:20 Martin felt the ship vibrate to the report of the 12-inch guns as they fired on the SMS Gneisenau.
