Inflexible beached
On 18 March, Inflexible was in the first line of ships sent into The Narrows to clear the way into the Sea of Marmora, and hence to Constantinople. Hit by Ottoman artillery, Inflexible suffered several casualties and was eventually beached after running into a mine.
