This is Dundee's story of those that served in the First World War, and of the people left at home
With Morag’s father safely home from the front, Morag and Charlie finally got married. To Charlie, Morag was the most amazing women in the world. In September 1914 she had promised him they would have their life together. He often thought she had promised too much. He watched and marvelled that day as his father and others locked in a lively but peaceful political discussion with John, while others gossiped and danced, just happy to be having fun. Charlie caught the eye of Morag, looked skyward, raised a glass in memory of his fallen pals and whispered to her – “new beginnings”.
