Interestingly, there were three Peter Geekies from Dundee who served with the Canadian Infantry with two being killed in action on the same day. The other being Peter Geekie of the 16th Battalion Canadian Infantry. The third who survived was Peter Geekie 663056, of the 164th Battalion, Canadian Infantry.

There are references to Peter in the local Dundee Newspapers held in Dundee Central Library.
