James brother Pte David Bennett, 703578, 102nd Battalion Canadian Infantry, was killed in action, 27.09.1918. His brother William was lost at sea 07.05.1915 aboard R.M.S. Lusitania which was torpedoed and sunk by a German Submarine. Sgt John Patterson Bennett M.M. 532776, 13th Field Ambulance, Canadian Army Medical Corps survived as did George who served with the Black Watch, Charles and Hector were munition workers.
