There is no Charles Coughlin/Coughlan, 11869, Highland Light Infantry, listed on either C.W.G.C. or S.D.G.W. Charles was discharged from the army 06.11.1915 and died 13.06.1916.

He is believed to be the brother of Cpl James Coughlin, 1289, Canadian Army Medical Corps and Pte Michael Coughlin, 6944, 2nd Battalion Highland Light Infantry, who died of wounds, 07.11.1914 and Pte Patrick Coughlin, Royal Army Medical Corps.
